I just found a awesome website which offers some sort of mini/alternative-concert video footage. Basically, there is a guy who lets musicians play in odd locations and films that. Just have a look. It’s fun, very intimate and unusual.

Last weekend I had my first session supported by my USV. –> it works great. Okay, this beeping every 10 seconds is a little disturbing sometimes, but I use to leave it in a closed flightcase so it’s okay for me. Most of the time the flash was stepped down to 1/2 or 1/4 of it’s power (260 watts) and in the end I used the constant light for some minutes (it went dark and I wasn’t able to focus any more).

After making about 160 shots it had still three-quarters of it’s full power. That’s enough for my shooting style at the moment I’d say. Yipiie. The person on the pictures is Timecy - he’s a musician based in Paderborn.
